The Hub wouldn’t exist without the community of Bellingham, so we strive to give back in as many ways as possible. As a certified non-profit organization, we offer a program for low-income individuals that are affiliated with a social services organization like Opportunity Council, Rainbow Recovery Center, Lighthouse Mission, etc. If the organization can vouch that the bicycle is needed to help someone’s livelihood (transport to work, school, etc.), we will work with the organization to provide a bicycle. We also subsidize costs for low-income families, offer volunteer opportunities, and host community events in our space. To learn more about volunteer opportunities and sign up for a shift, visit our SignUpGenius page.
